Inspection:
Equipment can withstand environmental influences at the site of use (protection class)
Labeling, connection points, and any separations in order
No visible damage
PE, L, and N not interchanged
Protective conductor secured against loosening
Protection by insulation
Measurements, testing performed on:
Measuring device used according to DIN VDE: Multimeter / Insulation testerIf multiple measurement results are obtained for the same test, always record the worst result!
Continuity of protective conductor system
Test current at least 10A/50Hz. The test must be performed between the PE terminal and various points that are part of the protective conductor system.
Limit Values Cross Section Max Voltage Drop Compliant
Enter value! Non-compliant
Enter value! (corresponding 1.0 mm² 3.3V ----------- ----------- Cross section 1.5 mm² 2.6V ----------- ----------- mark!) 2.5 mm² 1.9V ----------- ----------- 4.0 mm² 1.4V ----------- ----------- >6 mm² 1.0V ----------- -----------Insulation Resistance
Measured with 500V DC between the conductors of the power circuits and the protective conductor system.
Caution: Disconnect machine/system from mains, do not touch test probes!
Measured value must be >1M?!
Measurement Compliant - Enter Value! Non-compliant - Enter Value! L1-PE ---------------------- ---------------------- L2-PE ---------------------- ---------------------- L3-PE ---------------------- ---------------------- N-PE ---------------------- ----------------------If safety measurements are compliant, the system can now be connected to mains voltage!
Caution with the following voltage measurements!!!
Input Voltages
Measured with voltage measuring instrument between the phases and between phases and neutral conductor.
Measurement Value Measurement Value L1-L2 ------------------------- L1-N ------------------------- L2-L3 ------------------------- L2-N ------------------------- L1-L3 ------------------------- L3-N -------------------------Control Voltages
Measured with voltage measuring instrument. Record measurement location and value (e.g., transformer input, transformer output, PLC power supply DC voltage, etc.).
Measurement Location Value ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------Testing:
Testing refers exclusively to the safety devices listed below and is not a general functional test.
