5.2 Parameterization of Micromaster 420 with BOP

Using the Quick Commissioning, the inverter is adapted to the motor and important technology parameters are set.
Parameterization achieves an optimal operating relationship between Micromaster 420, motor, PLC, and other devices.
Some parameters are essential for commissioning. The most important ones are listed here:

5.2.1 Parameters

P0003 = Access level
1 Standard (Basic Application)
2 Advanced (Standard Application)
3 Expert (Complex Application)

P0010 = Commissioning parameter
0 Ready
1 Quick commissioning
30 Factory settings
NOTE: To parameterize the motor nameplate data, set P0010 = 1.

P0100 = Motor nominal frequency (input of the motor nominal frequency)
0 Europe [kW], standard frequency 50 Hz
1 North America [hp], standard frequency 60 Hz
2 North America [kW], standard frequency 60 Hz
50/60-Hz DIP switch for frequency setting
P0100 = 0
NOTE: For P0100 = 0 or 1, the DIP50/60 switch determines the value of P0100.

P0304 = Motor nominal voltage = 230V AC

P0305 = Motor nominal current = 2.30 A

P0308 = Motor nominal power factor = 0.0000 (input according to nameplate cos Π)
Setting 0 calculates the value automatically.

P0310 = Motor nominal frequency = 50Hz
The number of pole pairs is calculated automatically.

P0311 = Motor nominal speed = 2700 rpm
Setting 0 calculates the value internally.
NOTE: This input is mandatory when slip compensation is used.

P0700 = Command source selection (see section 3.5.5.2 "Command Source Selection")
0 Reset digital I/Os to factory default
1 BOP (Inverter keypad)
2 Terminal strips
4 USS via BOP link
5 USS via COM link
6 CB via COM link

P1000 = Frequency reference source selection
66 Cmd=CB COM-Link reference = USS COM-Link

P1080 = Minimum frequency (input of the lowest motor frequency in Hz) 0.00 Hz
Input of the lowest motor frequency at which the motor operates independently of the frequency reference. Applies to both directions.

P1082 = Maximum frequency (input of the highest motor frequency in Hz) 50.00 Hz
Input of the maximum frequency to which the motor is limited independently of the reference. Applies to both directions.

P1120 = Ramp-up time (input of acceleration time in s) 01.00 s
Time for the motor to accelerate from standstill to maximum frequency (P1082).

P1121 = Ramp-down time (input of deceleration time in s) 00.00 s
Time for the motor to decelerate from maximum frequency (P1082) to standstill.

P3900 = End of quick commissioning / drive setup (start motor calculation)
0 No quick commissioning (no motor calculation)
1 Motor calculation and reset of all other parameters not included in quick commissioning (attribute "Quick-Commissioning" = no) to factory settings.
2 Motor calculation and reset of I/O settings to factory settings.
3 Motor calculation only. No reset of other parameters.
NOTE: For P3900 = 1,2,3, internally P0340 = 1 is set and the corresponding data is calculated (see parameter list P0340). Afterwards, addresses must be assigned in parameter 0918.

P0918 = PROFIBUS address
Sets the PROFIBUS address or the address of additional modules.
Two options are available:
01. via DIP switches on the PROFIBUS module
02. via a user-defined value
Possible PROFIBUS settings: 1.125 (0,126,127 not allowed).

Micromaster 1
Address 1
Micromaster 2
Address 3

If necessary, parameters can be reset to factory settings.
After setting P0010 to 30, all parameters (except P0970) are locked.

P0010 = Commissioning parameter
0 Ready
1 Quick commissioning
30 Factory settings

P0970 = Factory reset
1 Reset
