9.0 Conclusion and Outlook
Communication
IRC may seem like an outdated communication medium in today's IT world. Organizationally, it cannot be fully captured compared to other communication media. IRC is a standard internet protocol that allows users to operate their own text-based chat servers independently with their own selection of channels. Security, extensions, deployment, programming languages—these are all left to the user's discretion. IRC is public and free of charge, and accessible worldwide.
Service
Optimized distributions with graphical administration interfaces allow thousands of professional tools to be compactly managed. WordPress alone provides 59,954 free plugins. Webmin allows nearly all Linux system functionality to be accessed under one interface without losing headless operation. pfSense and RouterOS enable deep, critical processes to be distributed effectively, normally only understandable by IT experts.
Extensions, Updates, and Availability
Synchronous audio/video communication, multimedia and multilingual functions, and OS-level programming are all possible expansions. Since most of the project is open-source, possibilities are virtually unlimited. Shorewall can manage firewall configuration efficiently. Migration to a root server is possible without breaking existing configurations. The platform remains a sophisticated, dynamic communication tool.
Social Structures and Ethics
Thematic communication and educational work on theological and eschatological topics remain the core of this project. Respect for people, their abilities and limits, as well as handling life crises thoughtfully, are central. Most conversations occur privately and are treated discreetly. The project aims to preserve a Christian community and apologetics.
